Talking yesterday, February 22, 2023 with Michael and Bill Shenas of @BreakthruBeverages and @GrgichHillsEstate Napa valley fine California wines and the founder and winemaker @MiljenkoMIKEGrgich that turns 100 in April, and the term regenerarative farming, yay to all, thanks Bill, will get the Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, all 100% varietal to sel, cheers!

LOVED the wines, seeing Bill Shenas again afterso many years, loved hearing him speak about California and foundera dwinemaker Miljenko MIKE Grgich , that Miljenko turns 100 in April 2023 ( Wow! Bravo, thanks Miljenko for all you have done for California wines and for theworldof wine ). I meediate,y referenced Croatia when I saw Bill, I said I would have reallybeen impressed and interested if he and Michael of Breakthru Beverages had broght one of your Croatian winesyou used to make and offer for sale ( Inbought and sold them in the past, the Posit dry white I recall fondly ). There isa market forthe wines of Croatia , i buy them from the Balkan Wine Project and Interbolt these days. We spoke of the beginning in 1977 for you and your partner Austin Hikls ( I do not remember tasting thecoffee), and I spoke of Patricia Gallagher and Jon Winroth and Steven Spurrier ( I knew all three and took the first or second class offered by the L'Acedemie du Vin with Patricia Gallagher and Jon Winroth of the International Herald Tribune. My mother Nancy Quinn saw it advertised in the International Herald Tribune. Patricia told my mother as I turned 21: it was her gift to me, that i was there and wouldbe allowed to come if all tge older people there in attendance liked me as I was the only young one in attendance. i passed the test and was welcomed back, yay! i met your daughter Violet at tge Rayburn Buikding in 2016 on a Wednesday ( with Nancy Pelosi in attendance ) when the 40 year anniversary if the Judgement of Paris wine tasting was being celebrated. Inthink I drew her quick portrait sketch and gave it to her? That was a bug event fir me as my mother passed away that Friday and I was able to share the coming event with her on that Monday before she passed, thanking her for giving me that birthday presentvwhen i turned 21 that changed and has added immeasurably to my life of art and wine, I am an artist, and I started by learning about the French wines from Jura! Anyway, i loved how your wines tasted yesterday and will buybthe Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Zinfandel. i loved, toothe Merlot and the Cabernet Sauvignon, and will buy them later. What i appreciated most about yourvwines Miljenko is their purity and fresh ess, ever heavy, never unbalanced, refined, alive and a pleasure to sip with or without food. ravo, such mastery, such delight, you awakened and refreshedmy palate to wonder and wander and feel absolutely splendid to be alive then and now! cheers!
